A tertiary level healthcare establishment TIMeS Hospital Tezpur, boasts of 8 very well equipped operation Theatres. TIMeS Hospital, Department of Anaesthesia will be manning 8 of these OTs with a team of experienced anaesthesiologists supported by a well-trained team of technicians and nursing staff. The main OT complex has 5 operation theatres which includes 2 fully modular OTs with laminar airflow and another 3 well equipped OTs. The theatres have high end monitors, latest versions of anaesthesia workstations, a fully dedicated USG machine for anaesthesia and pain services, and an observation unit attached to the main OT complex. The operation tables and theatre lights are from Palakkad and Cognate. Besides there are 2 dedicated OT for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The Casualty unit also has a full-fledged theatre to deal with the patients on an emergency basis. The OTs will be strictly monitored by a team of hospitals infection control department headed by the microbiologist of the hospital.
