Our endoscopy machine is from latest versions of 190 series Olympus with narrow band imaging (NBI). NBI is an optical image enhancement technology that enhances the visibility of vessels and other structures on the mucosal surface. It helps in early diagnosis of cancer and more accurately targeted biopsies in patient with Barretts esophagus. NBI may help detect lesions which are barely visible under white light endoscopy. We regularly do all upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures including biopsies, banding for esophageal varices bleeding, glue injection for gastric varices bleeding, Polypectomy in stomach and colon, dilation of esophageal structures, control of active gastrointestinal bleeding by injection therapy or by clipping. We also remove various foreign body in the esophagus and stomach like fish bone, meat bone, accindental ingestion of Coin and dentures.
